I want to go with a quad-core deffenently because they are almost the same price, but ten times better than the core of sadness. Also the motherboard ASUS or EVGA are a good start! If you have further questions, please email me. Let me help clear it for you!
PS Go to Newegg.com for all your equipment! They have good prices and excellent service!
If money is no problem, check this out.

Crysis is the benchmark for what is to come.
Trust me.
I suggest you keep an AMD for use at all, because they are better for multitasking, consume less energy, so cool and faster than Intel processors. How do for motherboards that they do not want the cheapest because they are usually very slow, and the failure of his team in the sense that the GAL. Other things I Nvidia graphics, fans in towercase you're probably a good display, large hard disk and at least 2 gigabytes of RAM at least 800 speed.

Why build when the cost is for an anti-static mat and strap, and more companies are building for you in the shop. Some of us still with a clean room:)
As for options: ASUS is the undisputed king of the motherboard. Intel dominates the sector with the FSB, and its massive cache procs, but the procs and motherboards are too expensive compared with AMD. For the performance of individual applications, the explosion may be better to take the ball to their budgets on AMD.
